The room was quite comfortable with a great bathroom, plenty of clean linens, and complimentary water. Great value for the price I paid, no qualms about the room itself.

The provided address in the check-in email misled me, sending me over a kilometer off course. Plus, the lack of a dedicated reception meant I had to reach out for assistance, which felt a little inconvenient for a first-time visitor.

El Malecon in Sarria was a great choice! My room was spacious, super clean, and had an amazing comfy bed. The location was perfect for heading to the Camino, and the staff were responsive, even returning my lost Pocketbook after my stay!

i truly wanted to enjoy my stay at el malecon, but the no air conditioning made for a humid nightmare. it’s shocking that no one offered me any complimentary water, considering the discomfort! and seriously, the check-in address was utterly wrong. i almost gave a good review, but this place was just not it.

No air conditioning or heat resulted in humidity!!! The provided address for Google Maps led us in the wrong direction, creating unnecessary stress!!! Rubber mattress protectors made for an uncomfortable sleep experience.

The Deluxe King Studio was really spacious and had a nice kitchen to whip up some basic meals. It was bright with plenty of windows, which I loved! Even though it was on a busy street by the river, it was surprisingly quiet. The host struggled with English but made an effort to point out where everything was like the supermarket and laundry.

Spacious room with garden views was perfect for relaxing, and the efficient bag move service saved us a ton of hassle!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, especially the stunning views of the river from my room's balcony. The location is perfect, with local restaurants buzzing in the evening and just a short walk to the old town to join the Camino. The spacious room with a kitchen was a great plus, allowing us to prepare some meals. I would have appreciated having breakfast options available on-site.

Good wi-fi and electric kettle, but no smoking on site was frustrating.

i had a great stay at el malecon! the location by the river was perfect, and there were plenty of eateries nearby. the unmanned reception was a little unusual, but when i needed help entering the hotel late at night, they were super helpful over the phone. loved the bustling atmosphere of local restaurants in the evening.

I had a wonderful stay at El Malecon! My room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely garden view. The location was fantastic, right by the river with plenty of local restaurants nearby. The staff was very efficient with fast check-in and even helped return my forgotten Pocketbook to me later without charge!

The unmanned reception made some assistance tricky.
