The room was quite comfortable with a great bathroom, plenty of clean linens, and complimentary water. Great value for the price I paid, no qualms about the room itself.
The provided address in the check-in email misled me, sending me over a kilometer off course. Plus, the lack of a dedicated reception meant I had to reach out for assistance, which felt a little inconvenient for a first-time visitor.

A lovely stay, with beautiful river views from the balcony! Friendly welcome that helped us with a large group reservation. close to local cafes for breakfast is a bonus.
Unmanned reception could be inconvenient at times~ not much direct staff interaction during my stay.

i truly wanted to enjoy my stay at el malecon, but the no air conditioning made for a humid nightmare. it’s shocking that no one offered me any complimentary water, considering the discomfort! and seriously, the check-in address was utterly wrong. i almost gave a good review, but this place was just not it.

updated room decor, locations near local restaurants, bag move service
No air conditioning or heat resulted in humidity!!! The provided address for Google Maps led us in the wrong direction, creating unnecessary stress!!! Rubber mattress protectors made for an uncomfortable sleep experience.

The Deluxe King Studio was really spacious and had a nice kitchen to whip up some basic meals. It was bright with plenty of windows, which I loved! Even though it was on a busy street by the river, it was surprisingly quiet. The host struggled with English but made an effort to point out where everything was like the supermarket and laundry.

Fantastic stay with beautiful river views
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, especially the stunning views of the river from my room's balcony. The location is perfect, with local restaurants buzzing in the evening and just a short walk to the old town to join the Camino. The spacious room with a kitchen was a great plus, allowing us to prepare some meals. I would have appreciated having breakfast options available on-site.

Our stay was delightful! The river's soft sounds added to the charm. We enjoyed lively local restaurants beneath us and appreciated the quick bag moves offered by the host. Remember to contact them for any questions, as the absence of a reception may surprise first-time guests.
